Physical & Life Science Programme List
Science Enrichment Program is an interactive science education program designed for kids, ages 6 to 12, to learn more about science through fun and hands-on science experiments. Since 2014, EMCC Learning Centre has been holding Science Enrichment Program during the December school holidays in Malaysia and Singapore, reaching out to many children every year. This year, we return with more dynamic science activities for children at Sutera Mall Library. Participants will be immersed in the joy of discovery the secret of nature.
科学实验班的目地是让所有的孩子能享受有趣又具科学性的实验，并且编制有趣的科学实验及教学手册，带着学生使用科学实验道具，让学生实际体验实验的过程。通过学生亲自操作实验，更加能学到科学的知识。小学科学实验教学是以实验观察和活动操作位基础的学科，让学生通过亲自参加实验活动，获得观察能力和动手操作能力，是小学科学实验教学的关键所在。
Discover the Nature of Life 生物的奥秘

Discover the many unique and different chracteristics of plants and insectss and learn about their life cycles. Students will not only become little scientists and discover the different plant parts, but also get a chance to observe them under the microscope!

Journey of Our Planet 行星之旅

We depend on Earth for our survival, but do we really know how our actions affect this beautiful planet? Come take a closer look at the different problems that the Earth is facing and how they affect our lives. Through exciting demonstrations and a participative lecture, see first-hand what is happening to Earth, and discover what we can do to protect Mother Earth!

Do you know how an eclipse happens? Could you explain how a mirror works, or why do rainbows form? With a range of exciting and fun experiements, this lesson is a fascinating introduction of light, reflections, colours and shadows as well as its properties. Not forgetting to create the rainbow!

Down to Earth 地球的秘密

Movement or motion is constantly happening all around us, from massive planets zooming round Sun to microscopic particles whizzing about inside atoms. Forces push and pull objects, making them move, change direction, or even stay where they are. But forces are not always so straightforward. Let's find out the secret of our Earth through Italian scientist Galileo Galilei!!

Heat and Temperature 热能的传递
(Mode of Delivery: Lecture, Practical Lab Sessions)
We rub our hands to keep ourselves warm and turn on air conditioners to cool our room. All of these activities deal with the concept of heat and temperature. In this workshop, observe what happens to objects when they are heated up or cooled down. Learn how to measure temperature. Finally, compare how different objects conduct heat at different rates.
